Hey There,
I have downloaded and been testing Divine for over 3 weeks now and tried and tried and tried in vain to set up the FTP Account Settings to point towards my WordPress Installation and to the Themes Directory, However, it keeps saying that it can't connect or the Host Name is Wrong. I have checked out each and every detail over and over again, and I am putting the right details in, Can't seem to figure it out. Can you guys please put a better tutorial of how the FTP Settings need to be worked with. I am hosting with IX WEB HOSTING with C-Panel and using WordPress 2.8 with Linux server and PHP 4+
Is it also posible to save the Converted Theme to a Local Folder for Manual Upload?? This I believe would give a lot of freedom to many designers like myself to make suttle chages as and when needed.
Please Respond.
Tallyho!
Jeasy.
Official response:
Jeasy,
please answer the following questions, so that we could help you out in full:
1. Is the preview page displayed correctly?
2. Are there any mistakes in the export window?
3. What does Divine eject while testing?
4. Do off-site FTP-clients work properly with the remote server?
5. What OS do you run?
6. Have you got any firewalls installed?
About saving your theme to a local folder - yes, you can do it with the help of new program make - please download it and try again: Publish to->Local folder.
